So, we are home from our fun, but tiring, trip to Alberta! We had a very great time and thought we'd share some of the fun moments with you. Here is Mycah on the way to Alberta. She obviously had enough of drawing with her hand and so decided to take up foot drawing!
Caleb realized that she was getting laughed at for this so he joined in to get our attention also!
Mycah spent much of her time chasing one or another of Bernita's three cats. This was a rare moment when the cat actually enjoyed her company. 
Then the pool had to be set up so it could be "real" camping as Caleb would say. He thought we needed a lake but we assured him this would work also. Mommy thought the water was way too cold but Daddy loved it as much as the kids!

Mycah and her always-hanging-out-of-her-mouth tongue.This is at a truly kid's hairdresser where Mycah had her hair done for the wedding. The place was full of these ride on toys and they had a ball pit and toys everywhere. I've never seen anything like it! 
During the rehearsal the night before the wedding Mycah had been down the isle once and when it was time for a rerun, my sister-in-law went to put her down only to realize she had fallen fast asleep. She had only been holding her for about ten seconds. Daddy tried to wake her up by standing her up but she didn't even open her eyes, only managing to get out a grouchy "noooo!" Here she had thought it would be okay to walk down the isle but stopped halfway when her cousin didn't seem to want to come along. 
Let's just say it was a long, tiring day and this is one of Mycah's most conquered looks: the pout.

And near the end, spending some time in one of her favorite spots, her Daddy's arms.
A couple other fun things that happened were, Caleb singing Jesus Loves Me at the reception so our table could eat next, and out for supper on the way home, Roy and I gave Mycah her own fork to share dessert with us, and upon seeing her Daddy take a bite, she looked at him and sternly said, "Hey!" What a girl after her Mommy's heart when it comes to dessert! Oh and thanks Gary for giving our very thirsty plants a drink while we were away! They seemed to have survived the heat!
