the Heart!

Our church started a study on the a book shepherding a child's heart.

We have the book and Steph read it a few times,but I didn't get further then maybe the 6 chapter.

In this first meeting we learned that when children, but us also, are doing sinful things, it's out of our hearts. The heart is a fountain and the fountain comes out in our actions and words.

Proverbs 4:23

Above all else,guard your heart,for it is the wellspring of life.

We discussed about how we should try with God's help change our children's heart.

Later on I was thinking more about this and it was also mentioned by Steph, that if our hearts are not changed how can we change our children's heart!!

Psalm 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, o God..

God is awesome and whatever we ask he will give us!!

So to all the parents out there and of course everybody else let's pray for each other for a changed heart. A heart that is focused on God and His ways!!!

Deut 6:4

You shall love the lord with all your HEART...
