July was a VERY busy month for the Feijen Family. First, we went camping at the beginning of the month with the lovely Toeters family at Little Bow Reservoir.

Our camping expert, Ezra...expert as in very-easy-fall-asleep-anywhere-happy and just plain wonderful.

The cousin's opa brought his boat, the kid's all had a tube ride. Silas went on with his mommy.

Yep, Auntie Bernita went on with Silas' mommy too!

This pretty much sums up our whole vacation...except those chairs were usually occupied.

Things were going great until one afternoon we saw a storm brewing across the lake. Word quickly spread through the campground of a tornado watch for our area. Never saw a site cleaned up so fast!! 25 mins and we were out of there! This picture was taken on the way home...not a tornado but still pretty crazy!

The week after that trip the kids had swimming lessons for a week in Claresholm. It is about 25 mins away so it was a long week. Of course Silas' lesson started 45 mins after the other kids were finished...

That same weekend we headed up to Ponoka to see our newest nephew and be there for his baptism. We had one extra monkey with us so we changed the direction of sleeping in a queen bed at the hotel.

Saturday we went to a wildlife park with Dan and Brenda and Grandpa and Grandma.

Ezra spent his day in there...wearing Daddy's hat.

The camel was pretty friendly.

We went camping again the day after we got home, this time without Daddy.

He was so sure he could get himself out...he figured that Mommy was right pretty quickly.

Oh and then the last week of July we repeated the whole swimming lesson week so they could get another level. I left the camera home.

I'm so in love with the Alberta sky...I'm always taking pictures...and yes I have become known as the weather watcher...one bro-in-law says they don't have to worry about the weather because Steph will let them know if there's an approaching disaster...

We also got a front porch built onto the house. But no picture. You'll have to wait for August's post.
